Freelance product manager turning vague requirements and competing priorities into digital products that actually ship.

About
I specialise in digital product management — the art of turning vague requirements, tight deadlines and competing priorities into working software. I’ve been doing it for over two decades, across startups, scale-ups and established organisations.
My background is in electrical engineering (MSc, TU Delft), which means I can have a real technical conversation with developers and a strategic one with stakeholders — sometimes in the same meeting. I’ve written enough Java, C# and Python to know what’s genuinely possible and what’s engineering optimism.
I work best when the challenge is interesting and the stakes are real. My approach is hands-on and pragmatic: I push for solutions that actually ship, hold up under pressure and don’t require a three-day onboarding to understand. I motivate teams, challenge assumptions and take responsibility for the outcome.
Based in Voorburg, The Netherlands. Currently available for freelance engagements.
Services
I move fluently between roles depending on what a project needs — and I can combine them when efficiency calls for it.
Coordinate multiple teams and projects toward a shared goal. I keep everything aligned — from strategy to delivery — without losing sight of the details that matter.
Define the product vision, own the backlog, bridge the gap between business and development. I turn “we need a thing” into a roadmap, and a roadmap into a shipped product.
Deliver on time, within scope, without setting things on fire. I manage the moving parts so your team can focus on building.
